Jack Sock (Springfield Lasers) came through in four sets against Christian Garin in a first-round meeting.

Shelby Rogers (San Diego Aviators) won an all-American battle on July 4, overcoming Julia Boserup 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 to reach the second round.

Yanina Wickmayer (Orange County Breakers) defeated Ukraine's Kateryna Bondarenko 6-2. 7-5 to win her Wimbledon opener.

Frances Tiafoe (Washington Kastles) marched into the Wimbledon second round after topping Robin Haase 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(5), 7-5.

Sloane Stephens (Philadelphia Freedoms) congratulates former Mylan WTT player Ali Riske after her countrywoman won their first-round clash. It marked Stephens' first match since the 2016 Olympics.

Kirsten Flipkens (New York Empire) defeated Misaki Doi 6-4, 6-3 to begin her Wimbledon campaign.

Ryan Harrison (San Diego Aviators) impressed in a straight-sets victory over Croatian Borna Coric.

Sorana Cirstea (Springfield Lasers) ousted 23rd seed Kiki Bertens 7-6(5), 7-5 in the first round.
