New York, N.Y. (July 27, 2010) - Recreational tennis teams from Missouri, Texas, and Kansas won regional championship titles this weekend at the World TeamTennis Rec League National Qualifier at the Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City, Mo.

This tournament was the third of seven national qualifying events of the year for the WTT Rec League.  Twenty-eight teams from seven states competed for regional titles and a chance to continue their seasons.  One team from each of the seven divisions won a spot in the WTT National Finals to be held November 5-7 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Calif.  Championship teams from all seven National Qualifying events, along with Corporate League teams, advance to the WTT National Finals.

The next WTT Rec League Qualifier is set for August 20-22 at the Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center in Raleigh, N.C.  WTT Rec League National Qualifiers will also be held in Houston, Texas (August 27-29); Irvine, Calif. (September 24-26) and Lancaster, Pa. (October 1-3).
