Meanwhile, Pandamonium, of Raleigh, N.C., won two of their three Flight A matches to take on Bob’s Ballers, of New Castle, Del., who went undefeated in Flight B. Star Lord defeated Raffa’s Renegades 30-25 to set up a final contest with Pandamonium, who dismissed Bob’s Ballers 34-24 in their semifinal match. 4.0 DIVISION:

In the race for the 4.0 Division title, 11 teams were split into three flights for round robin play on Friday and Saturday. Flight A saw Pachauri, of St. Louis, advance to the semifinals after the team went 3-0 in their matches. The Miss Hits, of Kansas City, Mo., won Flight B after posting three convincing wins over their opponents. Cory, of Anderson, S.C., went 2-1 in their flight to capture the No. 3 seed in the semifinals and Spin Doctors, of Cary, N.C., also advanced as a wild card. The first semifinal on Sunday was tight between The Miss Hits and Spin Doctors; however, The Miss Hits maintained their undefeated streak taking the match 25-23. For the second semifinal contest, veteran team Pachauri dealt Cory their second loss of the weekend, outscoring their opponent 29-21 to make it into the championship match. In an all-Missouri final, Pachauri faced off with The Miss Hits in a close contest, but The Miss Hits ended up scraping by 31-29 to score their first title in the division. Champion team members include Daniel Berkland (captain), Kyle Cumberland, both of Kansas City, Mo.; Aimee Claassen, Parkville, Mo.; and Krista Shelton, Blue Springs, Mo.

4.5 DIVISION:

After winning their next two matches against Mid Court Crisis, of Wilmington, N.C., and then claiming their second victory over Raleigh SOS, the title was within their grasp.
